St Nicholas Church, Halewood
Restoration Appeal |
In 2000 we launched the St Nicholas Millennium Development Project.
This involved providing better access, toilet facilities, crèche and the
re-ordering of the Church to fulfill our aim of allowing the local and wider
community the opportunity of visiting the Church and exploring it's
history. Our historically significant William Morris windows are currently
being restored and we intend to refurbish our Henry Willis organ in 2008. The
overall cost of the development is £375,000.00 and to date we have raised over
£230,000.00. We have been supported in our Project by the following:- Heritage
Lottery Fund Ibstock Cory Environmental Trust Biffaward Veolia
Environmental Trust Our
Church family continue with in-house fundraising to raise the shortfall but we
