Easter Extravaganza - presentation of the Easter story for all ages, 4:00PM at St Mary's
31Extraordinary HCC Meeting There will be an extraordinary meeting of the HCC at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 31 March, at St Mary's. This meeting is being called so that we can discuss future plans for our churches in the light of falling numbers of clergy. We need to formulate a response to both the Methodist District's proposal, Mapping the Way Forward, and to similar questions raised by the Anglican Deanery. Please put this date in your diary, and come along if you possibly can.

15Basic Hygiene Course to be held at Harrisons' (Stable Court), Wednesday 15th April starting at 6pm. The course is for Level 1 which covers food safety for the occasional caterer, those in retail and those who manufacturer. The course will include an assessment on the night and certificates for successful candidates. The cost will be £40 inclusive of VAT. May6-9The Bentley Operatic Society are performing ‘Patience’ at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn from Wednesday 6th May to Saturday 9th May 2009 at 7.30pm. 25-28Halewood Pilgrimage 2009 Our pilgrimage this year will be based at Bangor and will include visits to Holy sites on Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsular as well as a guided visit to Bangor Cathedral. The dates are 25-28 August. Costs for accommodation will be £117.45 for three nights half board. Travel costs will be shared between the number of pilgrims attending.
